Northern Cardinal 21

The call of the Northern Cardinal is typically a loud, metallic chirp although they are believed to have at least 15 other calls.  The cardinals typically make this call when carrying food to the nest, when getting nestlings to leave home, when warning off intruders or when predators are near.
